We process the sales once a month. However, it does not always make sense to send out monthly statements to labels. This is because there is a lot of time in between the releases. Or because a release date is at the end of that month. It makes more sense to wait to the following month to have a better view of Sales.
We have a system where the label owner, at all times, can ask us a recent sales update by email. The biggest advantage is that you continue to talk to each other instead of just sending documents. This way you often come to new insights, both creative and sales related.
